- Active Ingredient: Fipronil 80% WG (Water Dispersible Granules / Wettable Granules).
- Chemical Class: Phenyl pyrazole.
- Mode of Action: Disrupts the insect's central nervous system by blocking GABA-gated chloride channels. This triggers extreme hyperexcitation and fast mortality via both contact and ingestion.
Dosage & Crop Application Guidelines
- General Foliar Spray Rate: Approximately 0.3 grams per liter of water.
- Rice (Paddy): 40 grams per acre mixed into 200 liters of water. Effectively manages Stem Borers (Dead Hearts) and Leaf Folders.
- Grapes & Chilli: 40 grams per acre to eradicate severe Thrips infestations.
- Other Suitable Crops: Cabbage, Cotton, Onion, and Tomato to control Diamondback moths, root grubs, and early sucking insects.
