Product Description
| Contains two key nutrients for growing crops viz., Potassium (K2O – 50%) and Sulphur (S – 17.5%) Contains extremely low chloride and hence has a much lower salt index in SOP (46) than MOP (116). Where soil is saline or sodic and where irrigation water may have high chloride levels, SOP is the preferred form of Potassium to use Low pH of SOP contributes to a slight acidification of the zone surrounding root (rhizosphere), enhancing the availability of macronutrients and micronutrients presents in the soil solution SOP improves the crops yield and quality. It makes plants more resistant to drought, frost, insects and disease It improves quality (colour, size, aroma, weight & taste) and crop yield, and also makes plants more resistant to drought, frost, insect and even disease It increases fruit resistance to mechanical damage during transport and storage The high concentration of Potassium with absence of N and P enable the correct quantity of Potassium to be supply at any stage. So, we can be combined SOP with N, P or NP fertilizers according to plants requirements It is preferred for fertilization of crops like tobacco, potato, grapes, apple, pomegranate, banana, mango, orange, tomato, chilli, onion, garlic, rubber, cotton and other crops where quality is of prime importance |
